Lorena Iglesias Heydenburk was born in Colón, in the Republic of Panama. She has a master’s degree in education and currently works as an elementary school counselor. As a child, Lorena loved to explore in her dugout canoe and have picnics in the rainforest. She has three grown children, and lives in Grapevine, Texas, with her husband.
Ana Ochoa was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and earned a degree in graphic design at the National University of Mexico. She also studied illustration in France and now works as a full-time illustrator. When not illustrating books, Ana enjoys spending time with family and friends, knitting, and traveling. She lives in Mexico City.
