The extraordinary artists listed come from many different backgrounds and have traveled many different paths. Their works are shown in museums and art galleries throughout the world. They have also created the art for many award-winning multicultural picture books for children. Harriet Rohmer, founder of Children's Book Press, has worked closely with the artists on all of their incredible books-which inspired her to put together Just Like Me: Stories and Self-Portraits by Fourteen Artists.
